Job Description:

 

In this role you will join the development team responsible for all of BrightSource’s software foundations.

You will develop libraries that are the basis of our complex control system and participate in the design of such systems.

As part of the foundations team, you will evaluate, implement and integrate new technologies into our core products, and build the infrastructure for our new SaaS and data-oriented products.

In addition, you will participate in the development of the software responsible for managing BrightSource’s distributed solar field communication, and of various other tools and applications required for our power plants to come to life .

Position Requirements:

​

• At least 2 years of C#/Java development experience

• A self-learner who is passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring others

• Ability to take ownership of complex systems

• Advantages – experience in:

  • working with communication protocols

  • designing complex systems end to end

  • working with big data

  • C++ development

  • client side development (especially Angular)

  • Scripting languages (especially Python)
